In my early years, I grew up with a giant tree, often called “the money tree.” I have fond memories of picking up the round leaves, and thinking it was real money. It makes me laugh when I think of the innocence we have as children, our imaginations, and how important it is just to be able to play. Today, I always keep what is commonly called a Chinese Money Plant as represented in this painting, and which originates from the Can Shang Mountains in the Yunnan province in China. “Blessing at New Moon,” is bright and vibrant and offers the viewer the simple joy of embracing their own innocence.
Blessing at New Moon is charming and can be added to any neutral or coloured wall space you might have, be it an entrance, office space, bedroom, living room, or kitchen and dining room.
